Garment bag and duffle in one

One bag for the outfit that matters and the rest of the trip

The IJEROVE Garment Duffle opens flat as a garment carrier, then folds and zips into a duffle. Pack the suit or dress in its own section, the rest of a short trip in the middle, and carry one bag.

  • A flat garment section keeps the suit or dress separate from everything else
  • The central compartment takes shoes, a wash bag and a change of clothes
  • One zip closes it into a duffle with padded handles and a detachable shoulder strap

One important outfit. Two awkward ways to pack it.

A wedding, an interview, a graduation or a client visit usually means one outfit that has to arrive presentable and a couple of nights of ordinary things. Neither of the usual options handles both well.

  • Fold it into a normal duffle and the outfit shares one compartment with shoes, a wash bag and everything else. It arrives creased in the wrong places.
  • Carry a garment bag as well and the outfit is protected, but you now have two things to hold through stations, check-ins and car parks.
  • The garment duffle gives the outfit its own flat section, keeps the rest of the trip in the middle, and zips both into one bag.

How the Flat-to-Duffle system works

Flat for the outfit. Zipped for the journey.

The garment carrier and the duffle are the same bag. Four steps take it from one to the other.

  1. The garment duffle opened flat as a garment carrier beside the closed duffle
    Step 01 · Garment layer

  2. A suit and shirt hung inside the open garment section
    Step 01 · Garment layer

    Place the outfit

Hang or lay the suit, shirt or dress in the garment section and close the flap over it.

  3. The garment duffle folded flat around the central compartment
    Step 01 · Garment layer

    Load the middle and fold

Shoes, wash bag and a change of clothes go in the central compartment. Fold the garment layer around it.

  4. The zipped duffle with its carry handles and shoulder strap attached
    Step 01 · Garment layer

    Zip and carry

Close the zip and the bag is a duffle. Carry it by the handles or clip on the shoulder strap.

What each part does for you

Every detail below is visible on the bag itself.

  • A suit and shirt hung inside the open garment section

    Flat garment section

The outfit travels in its own layer

A suit or dress lies flat under its own flap instead of being folded into the bottom of a bag with everything else.

  • The garment duffle folded flat, showing the zip that runs around its edge

    One perimeter zip

Garment carrier to duffle in one action

The zip runs around the edge of the garment layer. Close it and the layer wraps the central compartment; open it and the bag lies flat again.

    Small things stay reachable

Tickets, documents and small items go in the outer zip pocket so you do not open the bag to find them.

  • Close view of the two carry handles held together by a padded snap wrap

Carry handles with a padded wrap

    Comfortable in the hand

Two webbing handles held together by a padded wrap that snaps closed, so the bag carries like a duffle should.

  • Close view of the adjustable shoulder strap with its metal slider

    Detachable shoulder strap

Hands free between train and hotel

An adjustable webbing strap that clips on and off the bag. Use it for the walk, take it off for the car.

  • Close view of the metal studs on the base of the bag

Sits on the floor, not in it

Metal studs on the base panel take the contact when you set the bag down.

Made for the trip with a date on it

Short trips where one outfit has to arrive presentable and the rest is ordinary.

  • Wedding weekend

The suit or dress in the garment section, shoes and a change of clothes in the middle. Hang the outfit when you arrive.

  • Business trip

A jacket and shirt kept flat for the meeting, charger and toiletries in the front pocket and central compartment.

  • Interview

Travel the night before with one bag over your shoulder, and walk in the next morning with the outfit hung and ready.

  • Formal event

A dinner, a ceremony or a graduation: one outfit that has to look right, packed apart from everything else.

  • Short trip with an outfit that matters

Two or three nights away where one set of clothes carries the occasion and the rest is ordinary.

Questions before you order

Straight answers about the format, the fit and the practicalities.

Ask us something else
How does it open?

A zip runs around the edge of the outer layer. Open it and the bag lies flat as a garment carrier with the garment section on top. Close it and the layer folds around the central compartment to form the duffle. Unzip again on arrival to hang the outfit.

What is included? Is the shoulder strap included?

One garment duffle in the colour you choose, with the detachable, adjustable shoulder strap. Nothing else is needed to use it.

What can it reasonably carry?

One outfit in the garment section: a suit or blazer with a shirt, or a dress, folded once. A few nights of essentials in the central compartment: shoes, a wash bag, a change of clothes. Small items go in the front zip pocket.

Does it replace a full suitcase?

No. It is a soft duffle for short trips of a few nights where one outfit matters. For a longer trip, several pairs of shoes or bulky equipment, take a suitcase as well.
